One more thing- they do skydiving there, which is really cool. The jumpers stay to the west side of the runway, and there is a right hand traffic pattern for runway 01, so the planes and the jumpers don't cross paths (unlike most airports, which just give the advisories to pilots).
Staff and airport are great!
Not as busy as Daton Wright Brothers, which makes it a great place to practice take-offs and landings on a nice, paved runway. It is not deserted though, so there are other pilots you can communicate with, and the airport is kept up well. However, hangar rental is a little pricey, so if you are in the middle of Daton Wright Brothers and Lebanon-Warren County, I would advise you to go to Daton.
Great place to go for my pilot training.
I must say I did had a good experience Skydiving at this place. But the photographs that my friends recieved for $80 was not worth it at all...there were around 80 pic and out of them not even 8 were good enough.I never could receive my pics ...It was lost in mail once and I spoke with the owner she said she will send it again and email it too...never got that one...and all furious I asked for the refund...two weeks later still waiting on it!So decide for yourself!
Great place. Patrons and staff are always friendly.
